LOGIC- PRODUCTION handles the production flow of your work in progress.
LOGIC Production can be wholly integrated with the Financial & logistic module or can be run as a separate module or integrated with either of the above modules.
The main components of the module are as such:
- Production flow tracking.
- Production Plan.
- External Processing.
- Raw Material Assignment & Consumption.
- Fabrication.
PRODUCTION PLAN
Under this option the system allows the user to plan his production on two parameters Pending sale order of the item to be produced & the Raw Material availability of the product.
The system prompts the user as to sale orders pending of the particular item. The user can assign the production order to a particular sale order or on FIFO Basis (Due date, Order Date).
Once the production order is attached to the sale order the system checks as to the availability of raw material required for executing the order. If the Raw material is available the user can assign the selected lots of that RM to the production order.
On assignment of the lot if the RM level comes below the reorder level the system will generate a purchase order of that RM.
If the required RM is not available the system prompts the user as to unavailabilty, but allows the user to proceed with the production. (Optional).
As & when the production starts the pendency in the plan reduces. If for some reason the production is not completed in the plan period. The user can add the pending production to the sale order & replan the pendancy.
PRODUCTION FLOW PROCESSING
After planning the actual production starts. The system enables the user to create job cards one or multiple under each production plan. The design of the job card is as per users requirement. The users starts by first creating the process flow for production & assigning the items to the process sequence.
When the processed RM is received from the first process . A job card no is assigned to this processed lot. This job card contains all the RM & the worker/machine details (e.g. weight, ART no, Size, cutter name, QTY Etc).
A Tag can be printed of this job card & attached to the lot if required.
Once this is done the lot as a whole is issued to the next process to one or multiple worker. This lot can then be received from the worker & then issued to the next process.
At the time of receipt the system offers the option to mark the total lot or part of the lot as rejection or replacement. The rejected lot can be taken out of the main production stream & reissued for reworking to any of the previous process for reworking.
The system tracks the date of processing & the worker who has worked on the lot as it moves along the production process it were assigned to. The in built checks immediately prompt as to delays & pendency. EXTERNAL PROCESSING
The User has the option to out source any process of the process line from an external party. The system maintains the pendency of the RM issued, Rejections & Replacements if any. The system also maintains the details of the processing charges after taking into consideration any debit/credit notes raised in the process. The system allows the user to reconcile the account as to RM processed after taking into account any wastage allowed.
The user can alter the definition of the product on receipt of the RM Issued to FG or WIP as the case may be.
RAW MATERIAL ASSIGNMENT & CONSUMPTION
Once the Production order is made . The software has the option to assign Raw material required to th production order. The RM as assigned can be issued to the production departments at a later stage. The software maintains the actual issue & receipts against the original quantity assigned . At the time of assigning if the necessary stock is not available the system shows it as RED indicating deficiency of stock.
FABRICATION
Functionally fabrication is the exact opposite of external processing. In this case the user is receiving RM from some other party to do a process. The system allows the user to track the production & the pending status of the RM lot wise received for processing. The system generate bill as to the processing charges after taking into consideration any debit/credit notes generated during the process due to Excess / Shortage / Rejection / Replacement.
The user can reconcile the RM pendency down to the last gram.
