Production Flow Chart - Job / Production Order

A job order is the first stage of Production Plan. A Job order is prepared by the production department. A Job Order can be created against Sale Orders for a particular Sale Order or on FIFO basis(Due Date, Order Date).

In the Job Order you can check the availability of Raw Materails required to complete the Job Order. If the raw material is not available Purchase Orders for the same can be raised and linked to the Job Order.

When we enter the final product its quantity than we can know whether the raw material for this final item is available or not from the different colors which high lights the column of the final item showing that raw materials are available, or partially available, or consumption is defined for the final item or not etc.

In job order when we enter a final item and than click on the button “Raw Material Details” a new form is opened where the details related to the raw materials are shown with the process assigned to them and their ratio, costper unit, required quantity, total stock available, remarks, pack/size etc.
We can also add raw materials if needed and this change or effect will be related to only that job order i.e. it will not add or makeany changes in the consumption master.
We can also change the ratio of a particular raw material and for that we have to click on the option “Raw Material Specification” which will be displayed on the right side at the top of the form after opening the Raw Material Detail option.
If we add a particular raw material which is not mentioned in the consumption master than it will show in “Green” color which means that this raw material is added in a particular job order. This is displayed with a image shown below:-

We also have options of adjusting a job order with purchase order, sale order or seeing pending sales order to be adjusted with that job order and we can also calculate the raw materials which are to be used in a particular job order. Now after completing the job order we have to move to the next form which is mentioned below.
In production plan we have to assign a new batch no. for the final item to be produced.
